Pond life - Emergency plants

The aquatic plants have run out. The Expert has sent some more in a giant refrigerated truck and I have just been to collect them. The truck was destined for Rome so we met up at the autostrada exit. I hope nobody mistook me for a drugs dealer (picking up my consignment of weed?).
Last night there was a massive thunderstorm which had the strange effect of clearing away all the bio agent that had been clouding the water surface. Today the water is clear and I can see right to the rocks at the bottom. The trees are reflected in the surface which is sky blue. Unfortunately it also reveals that I have missed a patch of sand and there is a gap in the planting - now a couple of feet under water. Does it matter?
