Pond life - pouring concrete

A sudden burst of activity - the crew comes to fix reinforcing bars then a series of lorries with incredibly long extending arms pour the concrete. The men are from Naples and say that their local tradition is to throw a coin into the concrete at the start of the pour for good luck. So we do this - a bit different from the Trevi fountain. The pattern of concrete walls is strange and it is difficult to see quite how this is all going to turn out.
