Reflections

Key to designing a garden around water are the reflections on the water surface of the plants at different times of year - and sometimes reflections of things you would prefer to hide. Often there are surprises ,so it pays not to try too hard, just enjoy the effect.

I'd like to get in contact with Yvonne about her pond. I lve in Soriano nel Cimino and have the same temperature changes. I'd like to know how she contructed her pond and about the oxygenating plants. Aslo does she have the water pumped to circulate? Phebe Archer

Ciao Phebe,
sorry I cannot contact you directly but only post a reply here. If you would like to send an email to ybarton@energy-contract.com then I would be happy to talk about my pond project. In the meantime you can click on the Label (top right corner of the blo) marked 'Pond' and there you will find a complete blog record of the pond and its construction dating back to November 2007. And yes, there is a small circulating pump system but only needed in hot weather.
