Porcupine - Zero Tolerance

I visited the garden of some fellow Med Garden Soc members recently and was mightily impressed with their assertive attitude towards porcupine, wild boar and any other animals (cats included) who might pose a threat to the garden. Bulbs were planted in raised walled beds (tulips thumbing their noses at the animals marooned below) and the veg patch was safely walled and gated. Anywhere that a structural approach was not possible they put down wire or plastic mesh that will repell inquisitive paws and claws. Zero tolerance: 100% effective. Forza!
