The liner has been installed – it took two whole days. First they laid down a white fleecy fabric to stop any lumps or sharp bits damaging the liner itself. Then they put down the waterproof fabric in wide strips and welded each part with a hot air ‘torch’ device. The wavy shape of the pond was fitted absolutely precisely – v skilled tailoring job. It is a rather fetching turquoise blue – funny because I had expected it to be black. Thunderstorms are forecast for tomorrow so they got it done just in time.
