A sine qua non for a pond is water. Given that our well had run dry (thanks to the neighbours drilling another one right next to it) we really needed a new well. A fantastic drill rig arrived with very smart crew - remiscent of a North Sea oil rig. The geologist prophesised that we would find water at 60m and again at about 85m. Lo and behold - a trickle of water at 58m and a veritable jet at 88m. Thank heavens!Y
