This rose was already in the garden when I arrived. It flowers once only but profusely in May. The pink flowers are classic in form. It is a twiggy shrub with few side branches, about 1m tall. The foliage is quite nice during the flowering season but then goes yellowy and blotchy. It survives in a very exposed, hot location on vitually no soil. I don't prune it very much because I am not sure how best to do it. Any ideas?

Hiya Yvonne,
I am having a good old rummage through your nice rose pages.
(Just so you know who's looking in your cupboards :-)
Does this rose have prickles? I thought it might be Zéphirine Drouhin, but only if there are no thorns of course.
BTW, leaving a nice comment on my bloomday post is easy :-)
